Description (partial)

Symptoms:
When local port goes down/down, the port at remote-end may stay up/up.
 
Conditions:
This issue is observed on WS-X6148-GE-TX ports in Cat6500 running
 12.2(33)SXH5 release. This issue is triggered on applying unsupported
 configurations on the ports. As a result of the unsupported configuration, the following error message is received:
