Description (partial)

Symptom:
After the 'logging monitor' config change is executed, no syslog messages were logged to the terminal line/session.

In the terminal line/session below, 'terminal monitor' is executed to cause syslog messages to be displayed on terminal line/session, and a syslog message is displayed when user exit the config session. However, after changing 'logging monitor' from sev7 to sev6, no more syslog messages are displayed on the terminal line/session, until the 'terminal monitor' command is executed again:

After the 'logging monitor' configuration, the syslog messages  will stop showing up on all terminal lines/sessions that have 'terminal monitor' enabled.

Conditions:
Changing logging monitor configuration.
