Cisco Bug: CSCtd60983 - Suppress L2-PPP_MA-4-ERR_SSO_ALERT: Incomptabile SSRP replicated state
May 15, 2018
- Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: On the standby router in a PPP IC-SSO setup, on a SPA reload the following IOS messages are likely to be seen: %L2-PPP_MA-4-ERR_SSO_ALERT : Serial0/2/0/0/1/10:0: Incomptabile SSRP replicated state received: Peer MRRU option received on non-MP-member These messages are misleading, since the condition they are warning about is only transient, and everything will recover correctly once PPP has recovered the state of its interfaces. Conditions: A PPP IC-SSO setup must be being used. In particular, 'ssrp group X id Y ppp' must be configured on some PPP interfaces. This is only a problem on the asr9k platform, in release R3.9.0.
