Symptom: The Nexus7000 is configured with 'logging timestamp milliseconds' for tagging the syslog message with milliseconds timestamp: n7k# sh run | i mill logging timestamp milliseconds All local syslog messages in the logging buffer are taged with milliseconds timestamp, but the local syslog message from KERNEL are not tagged with milliseconds timestamp: n7k# sh log | i KER 2009 Nov 21 19:46:42 n7k-1 %KERN-2-SYSTEM_MSG: Starting kernel... - kernel n7k# Conditions: Local syslog messages from KERNEL.
