Cisco Bug: CSCtd41899 - fgid_server's bcdl sea cap bits invalid after multiple sfe restart
Jan 09, 2017
- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Loss of Muilticast traffic in a carved SDR OSPF is down in carved SDR The issue with fgid_server is on getting the state change from ENABLED to !ENABLED, fgid_server should clean up the entry for that SM card and in the process should set the "type" field to FGID_CARD_INVALID as well. This was not happening, causing the sea_cap_bits to go down to 0, when the sfe driver on 3/SM2/SP restarted 4 times. 4 is important as it matches the no. of SM cards in the rack. Conditions: Occurred after a RACK 3 OIR via power cycle SM card 3/2 had multiple restarts.
