Cisco Bug: CSCtd29115 - ENH: Allow reverse-route remote-peer with IPSec Profiles for use with TP
Oct 19, 2016
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Functionality similar to crypto maps to allow for reverse-route remote-peer should be present for IPSec profiles, especially in situations where VRF-aware IPSec is being used, to insert two routes, with one route being for the remote peer in the VRF and the other for the remote network pointing to the remote peer. Currently, only one static is installed for the remote network, but not for the remote peer. This may be required in Service Provider scenarios where BGP needs an accessible next-hop, which if not present, will not allow BGP to advertise that route when redistributing. Conditions: When using VRF aware IPSec with BGP.
