Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco MWR 2900 Series Mobile Wireless Routers

Known Affected Releases

12.4MR

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The MWR2941 contains network processor which is used in the forwarding path for certain MPLS and IP routing flows. While the network processor is a high performance packet forwarding engine, it is possible when using Gigabit Ethernet Interfaces on the MWR2941 to cause the network processor to reach its maximum performance limit. When this occurs, traffic destinated to the network processor will be dropped indiscriminately, including control traffic for MPLS and IP routing.
Conditions:
This problem only occurs when the MWR2941s network processor is overloaded.
