Description (partial)

Symptom:

Input queue on Tunnel interfaces become wedged (size matches or exceeds the max), example:

Tunnel1 is up, line protocol is up 
  Input queue: 2001/2000/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 0

Once this occurs, traffic will not longer pass through this interface.

Conditions:

This issue occurs in IOS versions containing the fix for software defect CSCsy33802 (12.4(25a) and higher).  This will be seen on Tunnel interfaces with traffic shaping applied.
