Cisco Bug: CSCtd04860 - snmp gets killed due to heartbeat missing, when EEM queries every 1 sec.
Jun 17, 2016
- Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: OSPF does not respond to SNMP requests, when SNMP queries are issued frequently (~1s in this case), and SNMP server process crashes. Conditions: This problem is seen only in the case when the rate of polling (SNMP trap queries) is very high. OSPF is slow to respond to these queries, and responds to older queries. Workaround(s): Once you encounter this scenario, unfortunately, there is no known workaround.
