Cisco Bug: CSCtd04254 - DHCP server sometimes loses client's DHCPv6 reconfigure key on reload
Jun 04, 2010
- Cisco Network Registrar
Known Affected Releases
7.0 7.1 7.2
Symptom: The DHCP server may not remember the DHCPv6 reconfigure key for all clients after a server reload. Conditions: This occurs when a client obtains a lease and a reconfigure key is generated. The key is incorrectly generated after the lease has been written to disk, rather than before. Thus, if the lease is not otherwise written again, the reconfigure key is lost.
