Apr 05, 2010
- Cisco 7600 Series Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: With dual rate policer (2R3C) configured, peak rate policer allows traffic well above the peak rate. The behaviour is more apparent with IMIX traffic or with small packet sizes ex. 66byte packets. Ex. with cir @ 64kbps , pir @ 10mbps, peak rate policer allows upto 18mbps, meaning traffic above 10mbps upto 18mbps also fall in the exceed bucket instead of violate bucket. Conditions: Issue seen with dual rate policer configured and traffic with small packet size.
