Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers

Known Affected Releases

6.0(185.4)

Description (partial)

Symptom:

APs which are in INIT state will give 64 attempts after each random timer they are assigned. After 64 attempts they will not retry and "Predownload Status" in "show ap image all" output should show as "FAILED" but instead of "FAILED" the output is displayed as "NONE"

Conditions:

When "config ap image predownload" command is issued few APs start predownloading and few will move in INIT state depending upon pre-download number support for APs on each platform.

APs which are in INIT state will give 64 attempts after each random timer they are assigned. After 64 attempts they will not retry and "Predownload Status" in "show ap image all" output should show as "FAILED" but instead of "FAILED" the output is displayed as "NONE"

To make pre-download again to these APs "config ap image pre-download" command should be issued again. This problem is observed on all platforms.
