Symptoms: Flood to fabric fails when a mac-address is moved from a DFC enabled module to a 6708/6716 module and the first packet enterting the new module needs to be recirculated. Only the 6708 where the traffic enters updates it's CAM table. For example, this can occur when VMotioning a virtual server between modules. If the switch has Out-of-Band MAC Synchronization enabled (under "conf t" mode, "mac-address-table sync" command) the mac-address tables should be synced within 160 seconds. Conditions: - Cat6500/Cisco 7600 with Sup720/PFC3B and 6708 or 6716 module. - The first packet on the 6708/6716 during mac move is recirculated.
