Last Modified

Products (3)

  • Cisco Nexus 5000 Series Switches
  • Cisco Nexus 5020 Switch
  • Cisco Nexus 5010 Switch

Known Affected Releases

4.1(3)N1(1a)

Description (partial)

Symptom:

Qos configuration to allow MTU of 9216 is not retained after upgrading from 4.0(1a)N2(1) to 4.1(3)N1(1a)

Conditions:

When the following configuration is present:

policy-map jumbo
      class class-default
        mtu 9216
   system qos
      service-policy jumbo

The conversion script doesn't keep the MTU value as can be seen in the "sh policy-map" output:

policy-map type network-qos jumbo
 class type network-qos class-fcoe
  pause no-drop
  mtu 2240
 class type network-qos class-default
  mtu 1538 <--- not what was configured
