Cisco Bug: CSCtc73048 - Campus Manager VTP Disconnected Domain for Access Points

Last Modified

Feb 22, 2014

Products (1)

  • CiscoWorks Campus Manager

Known Affected Releases

5.0(1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:

If there are APs in the VTP network, Campus Manager Discrepancy Report will show:

"VTP Disconnected Domain"

for Access points.

Basically, if VTP domain is not supported in a device, Data Collection put it in a domain called
NO_VTP. And because of this when computing discrepancy, as the Access Points are having the same
VTP Domain name and are in different domains, it is considered for VTP Disconnected Domain.

Conditions:

This is observed on Campus Manager 5.0.1, other versions may also be affected.
