Symptom: MAPI connection to server not closed under particular scenario even when the client has disconnected. The edge WAE holds on the WAN side of this connection as TDL. Conditions: Aborting all connections from more than a thousand Outlook 2007 or 2003 users after a long duration sometimes causes a MAPI connection between the edge and core WAEs as well as between the core WAE and the server not closed. The nature of the traffic is read operations of large files >5MB in size over 24hours before it is aborted.
