Cisco Bug: CSCtc66387 - UI_BEH: Pressing session key during 1-sec disabled window shifts focus

Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified IP Phones 9900 Series

Description (partial)

Symptom:

Pressing a "disabled" session key does not invoke an action (as expected). However, focus is shifted to the session. This suggests that the session key has been acted upon, when in fact it has not.

Conditions:

The RT phones implement a behavior that whenever the contents/binding of a session key changes, the session key is disabled for 1 second and the associated LED is dark. In the current implementation, the session key is disabled to the extent that no action is performed, but the session focus changes, giving erroneous feedback to the user.
