Cisco Bug: CSCtc63005 - OSPFv3 default-information originate doesn't work in 6PE
Jan 07, 2017
- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: OSPFv3 might fail to originate default route when "default-information originate" command is configured and there is a default route ::/0 present in the routing table. Conditions: The problem happens when the default route in the RIB is recursive - it has an IPv6 address as the nexthop, but the outgoing interface is not known. BGP or static routes could be recursive.
