Last Modified

Known Affected Releases

9.10

Description (partial)

Symptom:
on ADM10G card ,In case of protected circuit ,alarm(AU-LOP in this case) on working path remains in CR severity even though traffic is switched to protect

Conditions:
1.	Had a path protected ring ,between two ADM-10G cards in single card mode
2.	Injected AU-LOP on working port. Traffic switched to protect and AU-LOP is minor.
3.	Create LOS-P on the protect port. Traffic is down due to double failure and selector switches back to working path and AU-LOP is critical.
4.	Now soft reset the ADM-10G card and while the card is coming up clear the LOS-P
5.	Traffic switches to protect but AU-LOP is still critical even after the card comes up

•	This is happening only when LOS-P is cleared while the card is coming up. If the LOS-P is cleared after the card comes up AU-LOP is minor
