Last Modified

Apr 26, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco ACE Application Control Engine Module

Known Affected Releases

3.0(0)A2(2.2.2)

Description (partial)

Symptom:

The ACE blade cores indicating a SRAM Parity Error. This crash is accompanied by an ifmgr process crash. This type of crash is a subset of the SRAM parity crashes which are tracked via CSCsq38638.

The fix for CSCtc53046 is expected to significantly reduce the occurrence of this type of SRAM parity crash.

Conditions:
This is a rare condition where the ACE blade is running and performs an SRAM operation that detects an SRAM parity error via an ifmgr operation.
