Symptom: Unity integrated with Domino message store can become unresponsive to user logins after an Email message with unknown plugins that point to internet links is attempted to be played via TTS. Once this message starts to play, the user listening receives silence, and any subsequent login to any mailbox, after the PIN is entered, recieves silence. In Unity 4.2, a 119 event is logged for CiscoUnity_ConvSubscriber indicating: An unexpected error has occured while a subscriber is on the phone with Unity. This can potentially result in the subscriber hearing the failsafe conversation. Technical details are - IAvDohMessage::Attachments returned [0x80004005] on line 1716 of file H:\Views\CUESB2_view\un_Conv1\Scripted\ConvSub\PlayMsg.cpp. In Unity 5.0, a 1000 event is logged for CiscoUnity_ConvSub indicating: An unexpected error has occured while a subscriber is on the phone with Unity. This can potentially result in the subscriber hearing the failsafe conversation. Technical details are - GetMessageCount returned [0x8004000c] on line 609 of file E:\Views\CU126.96.36.1997\un_Conv1\Scripted\ConvSub\MsgCount.cpp. Both releases then log: Event Type: Error Event Source: CiscoUnity_MALLn Event Category: Error Event ID: 14 Date: 10/6/2009 Time: 12:48:58 PM User: N/A Computer: MCS226 Description: The Unity for Domino messaging component was unable to open the mailfile [mail\bmai] on server [CN=Domino7/O=Org]. The Notes subsystem returned the following error: Not a Notes error - The Notes proxy was either blocked or failed to complete in a timely manner Event Type: Error Event Source: CiscoUnity_DSDomino Event Category: Error Event ID: 1015 Date: 10/6/2009 Time: 12:49:18 PM User: N/A Computer: MCS226 Description: Cisco Unity couldn't open the Notes database names.nsf on Server CN=Domino7/O=Org. Notes system error Not a Notes error - The Notes proxy was either blocked or failed to complete in a timely manner. Conditions: Unity 4.2 with Domino 7.0 backend and Notes 6.5 installed on Unity. Ducs version 1.2.3 Unity 5.0 with Domino 7.0 backend and Notes 7.0 installed on Unity. Ducs version 1.2.4 In issue experienced at site, emails received from www.ieonline.com have a plugin added that basically reference a link to a website.This site is a medical reference site that sends requested reference material via this email with the embeded link/plugin. TTS is used to listen to the email referenced above.
