Description (partial)

Symptom:
When they try to retrieve message from TUI they get the message indicating the mailbox is full. The user had nomessages. Checking the mailbox information for that subscriber I could
see the following:

number of messages: 0
size: -3313293
Creation Date: 2009-01-10

We do not know when the mailbox became negative in size, I did come
across defect CSCsi97287 but this particular subscriber does not use ciscopca. So, changing the
subject of a message never happened. But, this does explain why we get the mailbox full message.

There are no diagnostics or reporting in CUC that will provide more information about how the negative mailbox size occur.

CUC should have capabilities to log mailbox activity to allow us to track down what's going wrong and enhancing csp_MailnboxesRefreshSize so mailboxes with negative counts are automatically updated. Possibily reviewing the viability to post alerts to the Application Event viewer
for mailboxes with negative counts.

Conditions:

Unity Connection Mail box full, but not
I have had several users now complain they get a message your mailbox is full please delete some messages. There is no message in the mailbox, not saved or deleted. Yet if you go into Unity and look at the messages tab, you see no messages but do see the mailbox is taking up a considerable amount of size. Deleting the mailbox and putting it back in fixes the issue, however have a concern something is going on that it is retaining storage for some reason, seeing this seems to be a growing problem ...
