Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers

Known Affected Releases

6.0(182.0)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
One of the controller on a wism running 6.0.182 code appears to be having a memory leak issue, with levels hitting 96% and above over a period of slightly over a week.

The show proc memory captured over a week seems to indicate high memory usage levels with processes related to eap, such as the eap framework, radius transport thread and peap processes so suspicion is that the leak is related/caused by these processes.

The title of the bug will be edited once we're able to identify the exact process causing the issue.

Conditions:

Controller running 6.0.182 code.
