Description (partial)

Same term appears in the Pulse and Restricted Vocabularies

Symptom:
The same term appears in the Pulse Vocabulary and the Restricted Vocabulary.

Conditions:
This issue can occur under these circumstances:

· A term, for example, term1, is added to the pending table for the Pulse Vocabulary.

· A configuration update occurs, and term1 transitions from being a pending term to an active term.

· Later, term1 is deleted from the pending table, and before a configuration update occurs, the term is added to the Restricted Vocabulary.

The anomaly of this term appearing in both the active Pulse Vocabulary table and the Restricted Vocabulary can occur because Cisco Pulse currently checks for duplication between the pending Pulse Vocabulary table and the Restricted Vocabulary. It does not currently check for duplication between the active Pulse Vocabulary table and the Restricted Vocabulary.
