Cisco Bug: CSCtc20863 - RIB and LDP is out of sync and LDP LABEL is pointing to stale informatio
Jan 17, 2017
- Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: MPLS forwarding entries were created for prefixes which should have been filtered due to label allocation ACL. These entries ended up stale since any further route updates were ignored due to filter. Can result in traffic loss. Conditions: LDP process received routing update at the same as label alloc ACL config was applied. Labels were allocated for prefixes which had just been processed at the same time that ACL was applied. These labels should have been deleted but were not due a bug. Any further subsequent routing updates for these prefixes were filtered and forwarding entries became stale.
