Cisco Bug: CSCtc20417 - jds: cores on ssl setup and jds start
Nov 08, 2010
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM & Presence Service
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The Cisco UP XCP Directory Service crashes intermittently when connecting to an LDAP server over a TLS connection. A core file is generated when this occurs. Conditions: The crash may occur under the following conditions: 1) On the LDAP Settings - Third-Party XMPP Clients configuration page, the same LDAP server is selected in the LDAP Server 1 and LDAP Server 2 fields. This is possible if an LDAP server is configured with separate entries on the LDAP Server - Third-Party XMPP Clients page but with different Server ID values. 2) If the LDAP server selected for user is configured with its IP address as the hostname and SSL is enabled on the LDAP Server - Third-Party XMPP Clients page, but the LDAP server security certificate uploaded to CUP has the server FQDN as its Subject CN.
