Cisco Bug: CSCtc15328 - MLPPP interface flapping after APS switchover - XR to IOS 7206 issue
Jan 12, 2017
- Cisco 12000 Series Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When an APS switchover is performed on an XR router, the SPA that is becoming active will use the sequence number with which it left off last time it was active, causing the far end router to drop packets due to invalid sequence numbers. The SPA becoming active needs to reset the sequence number to 0 in order for the far end router to resync the sequence number correctly. Condition: Cisco 12000 series router running 3.8.2 interim built.
