Cisco Bug: CSCtc04174 - SIP Call Fails "ioCcSipMgr::parseSipMsg, too many Call-Id"

Last Modified

Feb 22, 2014

Products (1)

  • Applications for Cisco Unified Application Environment

Known Affected Releases

9.7(3)P27

Description (partial)

Symptom:
SIP calls may fail if they contain a proprietary SIP header starting with "I". Normally these custom headers are dropped as per RFC 3261.
Conditions:
A parser check for redundant call-ids can lead to some custom SIP headers to be mistaken for call-id. This can cause the SIP message to be dropped before entering MDL.
