Symptom:

SNMPWalk counters for all the pegs(Send packets, send bytes, error packets etc) are getting resetted
automatically even before attaining the max value of 2^32. 

Conditions:

If any one of the counters reaches the 3^32 bit value the other counters are getting reset.
Generally the receive bytes is getting rollover and causing the other counter in the PPP link
counter group to reset.
