Feb 22, 2014
- Cisco 7600 Series Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Link takes time to be up after switchover when RSP has many routes Conditions: IXIA------R1(C7609-S)------R2 -R1 has redundant RSP720 -Many routes are injected from IXIA to R1 -R1 and R2 are configured as OSPF neighbor When the RSP switchover is executed on R1, Graceful OSPF Restart doesn't work correctly because the link between R1 and R2 takes long time to be up. As a result, OSPF neighbor between R1 and R2 will be down. This symptom is seen with 12.2(33)SRC4 or earlier releases, but not seen with 12.2(33)SRD or later releases.
