Cisco Bug: CSCtb87285 - Access Point 1250 a radio not coming up
Apr 06, 2011
- Cisco 4400 Series Wireless LAN Controllers
Known Affected Releases
6.0(162.7) 6.0(183.54) 7.0(89.0)
Symptom: If below commands are executed repeatedly in a script, after lot of iterations, AP Radio may not come up. when we try to enable Radio explicitly via 'config 802.11a enable <Cisco AP>', it might say, Radio is already in that state. This can happen for both 802.11a or 802.11b Radios. config 802.11a enable network config 802.11a disable network config 802.11a enable <Cisco AP> config 802.11a disable <Cisco AP> Conditions: This is a race condition in the configuration on the controller. When we execute 'config 802.11a enable/disable network' command, controller saves the config locally and race condition happens with configuration saved on the flash when CLIs are executed too fast via script.
