Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco 7600 Series Routers

Known Affected Releases

12.2(33)SRC 12.2(33)SRC4

Description (partial)

'no spanning-tree mode mst' command followed by 'spanning-tree mode mst' triggers PVST BPDUs to be tunneled through VPLS domain instead of being blocked by 'spanning-tree bpdufilter enable' command, configured under customer-facing interface on PE router.
change spanning-tree mode by 'no spanning-tree mode mst', wait for 30 seconds to get links unblocked by spanning-tree, issue 'spanning-tree mode mst' and wait another 30 seconds for the same purpose -- now PVST BPDUs, blocked correctly previously are 'leaking' through VPLS domain
