Cisco Bug: CSCtb67236 - MAC address withdrawal message delayed by 7 secs on CRS
Jan 10, 2017
- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The MAC withdrawal message was delayed by 7 secs to prevent relearning of the faulty path in the case that the MAC withdrawal message arrives before the last packet from that failed datastream. However, in some scenarios, this creates a situation where more packets are losts than targetted. Condition: An interface failure creates this situation if MAC withdrawal is enabled.
