Last Modified

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Tacacs+ authentication packet will get sent out with no rem_addr field, and a rem_addr length field equal to zero. This can cause the Caller-ID field on the tacacs server to not populate correctly.

Has been observed on the 2800 platform when using http authentication configured as:

ip http authentication aaa login-authentication tacacs

And accessing the device via http://<ip-address>

Note that if accessing via another method (ie: telnet) the field will be populated.
