Cisco Bug: CSCtb59226 - MPLS-TE: not get subset of entries in list for MIB mplsTunnelHopIpAddr
Jan 13, 2017
- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When explicit-path like the below is configured and SNMP MIB for mplsTunnelHopIpAddr is accessed by SNMP Manager to get all next-address entries, we cann't get all entries completely. We can get only 1 entry(first hop only). In this following case, index 20 and 30 do not exist in the list sending from router. index 10 is only got. [configuration] ==================== explicit-path name path2 index 10 next-address strict ipv4 unicast 10.1.3.6 index 20 next-address strict ipv4 unicast 10.1.4.6 index 30 next-address strict ipv4 unicast 10.1.5.6 ! interface tunnel-te10000 ..snip.. path-option 20 explicit name path2 ==================== [MIB result] SNMPv2-SMI::transmission.126.96.36.199.1.5.10000.20.10 = Hex-STRING: 0A 01 03 06 <none> Condition: 1) This issue happens when you access to mplsTunnelHopIpAddr for seeing all entries all together. If you directly access to mplsTunnelHopIpAddr with specific index (indicating complete OID), you can get the next-address for the index correctly. 2) This issue does not happen when a sequence of the "index" is in order of 1,2,3... or 10,11,12...etc(the increment is 1) in the explicit-path configuration. If the increment is not 1 like the above example(10,20,30...), it will happen.
