Last Modified

Jan 29, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Catalyst 6000 Series Switches

Known Affected Releases

12.2(33)SXI2

Description (partial)

Symptom:
With QoS enabled globally, interface may incorrectly behave as trust dscp.
- If traffic is ingress untrusted port, dscp may be incorrectly retained on
egress.
- If traffic is ingress trust cos port, packet may be incorrectly treated as
trust dscp, thus modifying COS on egress per the DSCP->COS mapping table.

Conditions:
- Untrusted interface config and QOS enabled globally.
- Trust Cos interface config and QOS enabled globally.
- This issue is observed in Cat6500 running 12.2(33)SX train and on Cat7600
running 12.2(33)SR train.
