Description (partial)

The following platform.log error may be seen on receipt of an ISDN Q.931 SETUP containing a single octet Channel Identifier IE meaning "Any Channel" selection (A3).

Wed Aug  5 15:16:31:051 2009 CEST | engine (PID 15872) <Error>
CP_ERR_INV_IDU_PARM: cmgIsdnpriAdapter::isPrefChanOpted:  UCID=*NA*,
SigPath=0034001a, TG=*NA*, SPAN=*NA*, TS/CIC=*NA*,
:  Channel_ID I.E.   invalid length

The PGW Engine flags the IE in error since it contains less than (3) octets however the call still processes.
