Description (partial)

An IOS SIP gateway that has an inbound voice translation-rule configured on the inbound VOIP dial-peer will populate the Remote-Party-ID (RPID) header in the 183 / 200 OK headers with the post-translation number. Depending on the SIP end that placed the call, it may display this updated number which can confuse end users.

This happens only when there is a voice translation-profile attached to the inbound voip dial-peer that translates the called number.
