Jan 28, 2017
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases

Symptoms: When the IProuting process is restarted using the <CmdBold>process restart iosproc.iprouting<noCmdBold> command, OSPF NSF processing gets terminated because the OSPF process has no router ID and adjacency goes down. OSPF processes without NSF configured also report "NSF processing terminated - no router ID". Conditions: The symptom is observed only when the OSPF process does not have an explicitly configured router ID using the <CmdBold>router-id<noCmdBold> command under <CmdBold>router ospf<noCmdBold> <CmdArg>proc-num<noCmdArg>.
