Cisco Bug: CSCtb36535 - "Product Specific Configuration Layout" missing in a particular case.

While configuring MGCP PRI port, I have mistakenly selected "Not selected" option instead of "no changes" and saved the settings. (Device->Gateway->see endpoints->DeviceName).

After save button is clicked, I could see an error "Update failed. Cannot insert a null into column (digitalaccesspri.tkqsigvariant)." on the top of the page. I found "Product Specific Configuration Layout" missing. I later, selected "no changes" again and clicked on save button. However, to my surprise, I do not find "Product Specific Configuration Layout" again. This is leading to MGCP port failure. No calls cannot be made as the clock config is missing in the page.

This issue can be see on ip phones as well.  All you have to do is save a phone an get the update failed error.  When the save fails with the error the product specific configuration is missing.  Once you correct what was wrong and save again the product specific config device gets saved with out the product specific configuration..


This problem is seen while mistakenly selection of "Not selected" option instead of "no changes" and saved the settings. (Device->Gateway->see endpoints->DeviceName). 

For the phone scenario it has been observed by changing the mac of an existing phone to a phone that already exist so the update will fail.
