Cisco Bug: CSCtb34477 - Channel-group for HIF PO missing after downgrade from 4.2 to 4.1
May 25, 2010
- Cisco Nexus 5000 Series Switches
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Port-channel configuration for the Host Interfaces (HIF) in a Fabric Extender (FEX) will be removed if the Nexus 5000 switch is downgraded from 4.2 release to a 4.1 release. Conditions: If customer configures HIF ports in a FEX as members of a port-channel and downgrades from 4.2 to 4.1, the configuration would be applied to the FEX after the reboot BEFORE the FEX is online which will result in the parser rejecting the configuration.
