Symptoms: CPUHOG messages may be displayed or Cisco IOS might crash when executing no ipv6 multicast-routing in a configuration with more than 20,000 IPv6 multicast-enabled interfaces or sub-interfaces. Conditions: This symptom is observed only rarely when an alternate software path is taken. It is not known what causes this alternate path to be taken.
