Nov 13, 2016
- Cisco NAC Appliance (Clean Access)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The host machine is multi-homed and typically has manual metric set on these interfaces. Each of the interfaces connect to a different CAS. NAC Agent pops up first on lower metric interface, then some time after user logs in the agent will pops up again on another interface. Conditions: - The host is multiple-homed; - The lower metric interface connects to OOB CAS. If the first CAS the agent authenticates with is in-band the agent will not pop again; - if wireless is involved, suppliant/wireless management does not disable wireless when wired is connected; The problem could occur regardless the interfaces use auto metric (default) or manual metric.
