Description (partial)

Symptom:

Inventory collection fails with a RICS0001 error.  Additionally, a stack trace
similar to the following will be seen in IC_Server.log:

java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
	at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor26.invoke(Unknown Source)
	at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:25)
	at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:585)
	at com.cisco.nm.rmeng.inventory.ics.core.CollectionController.run(CollectionController.java:711)
	at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:595)
Caused by: java.lang.NumberFormatException: SOFTWARE (fc1)

Conditions:

This occurs for Catalyst switches such as 6500s or 4500s in Resource Manager Essentials 4.3 or in RME 4.2 with the patch for CSCsv65621 applied.
