None Symptom: - "Jul 30 05:31:24.932: %MLSM-6-LC_SCP_FAILURE: NMP encountered internal communication failure for (10.102.129.2,220.127.116.11,910), flow will be software switched" is seen in logs - "sh disk0:" and "sh slavedisk0:" are not working Conditions: The problem was seen on 7600 with 2 x SUP720 and and several 6704 LC + 1 SIP-600 when doing the upgrade as is indicated below: - perform upgrade-rom slo x file:disk0:<file> <file:disk0:<file>> on all linecard, on both sp and on both rp - redundancy reload peer to bring the standby sp and rp up and running with the old IOS, but the new ROMMON version. - change the boot statements, first SRC3 from disk0: and last SXF8 from disk0: - redundancy reload peer, start the standby SUP with SRC3 - redundancy force-switchover, this force a reload of the until yet active sup and this sup perform IOS and ROMMON Upgrade at the same time.
