Cisco Bug: CSCtb04248 - DCBX does not converge with fcoe cos of 7
Jan 20, 2017
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Qlogic CNA is unable to Bring up the FCoE Link via FIP with Nexus4000 when FCoE CoS is changed to a non-default value. Conditions: The default CoS for FCoE traffic is CoS=3. This problem occurs when CoS=3 is configured as a "drop" CoS in QoS configuration, instead of "pause no-drop". This change in the configuration causes the DCBXP protocol not to converge between the CNA and Nexus4000 switch as a result FIP/FCoE cannot start.
