Description (partial)

OGW <---(DO)---> CUBE <----(DO/EO)---> TGW

In the above Topo, if xcoder is shutdown or if codec is not supported by xcoder, call will fail to establish. But it is observed that the inleg DO is not disconnected properly & goes to hung state.
Only if OGW sends CANCEL message, the inleg of CUBE is cleared.

This is observed for DO-DO & DO-EO calls. EO-EO call do not have this issue.
Xcoder should be shutdown or the codec used by the call should not be supported by xcoder.
