Apr 30, 2010
- Cisco Unified Contact Center Express
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Master/Slave indication for desktop services is not clear on serviceability appadmin Conditions: Have a HA setup * Goto Serviceability - Network services page * Ensure that the UCCX engine service and Desktop services on Node1 are indicated as Master and on Node2 as Slave. * Stop 'UCCX engine service' on Node1 * Observe the behavior of the UCCX engine service and Desktop services on both nodes. Actual results: On Node2, The UCCX engine service on Node 2 takes over as Master and all the Desktop services on Node2 are also shown as Master. On Node1, The UCCX engine service on Node 1 is shown as shutdown and all the Desktop services on Node1 are shown as In Service but there is no indication as to whether they are Master or Slave. Expected results: For Desktop services on Node1, there should be indication that they are slave and would take over from Node1 when required. Right now the behavior is, Desktop services ARE DISPLAYED AS MASTER OR SLAVE BLINDLY BASED ON WHAT The UCCX engine service is.
