Cisco Bug: CSCta83577 - u6rib infinite loop on client dereg with route loops
Feb 01, 2017
- Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: A Nexus 7000 may syslog various %SYSMGR-2-SERVICE_CRASHED messages then perform a stateful switchover if a standby supervisor is installed. Conditions: This can happen under the rare condition that a routing loop was detected by the IPv6 RIB, and while this "(hidden)" route remained installed in the RIB, an IPv6 Routing client was deconfigured. Example: <CmdBold>no router rip cisco<NoCmdBold> Note: an IPv6 routing loop is announced via the %U6RIB-3-RNH_LOOP_ERROR message.
