Cisco Bug: CSCta75758 - Multiple B channel is established from the beginning on MLPPP
Feb 01, 2017
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: A router makes two B channels on MLPPP from the beginning when it tries to set up an ISDN call even though there is not a lot of traffic running. Conditions: It happens under both of the following conditions. 1. The router uses legacy interface (BRI or PRI) for dialing. 2. SYSLOG server is configured by "logging x.x.x.x" and its IP address is beyond the ISDN call, so SYSLOG packets should go through the call.
